Where movement meets transformation
I I have lived in Cupertino for almost 24 years and have worked for tech companies for over 30 years. Out of those 30+ years 23 years are with a tech company in Bay Area. I have raised my family here.
My three children have gone through the Cupertino school system, so I am well acquainted with the community’s concerns. Two of my kids are now doctors and the third one is an associate scientist. I believe I can contribute positively to shaping education policies.
What sets me apart is that I represent a minority community that is underrepresented at both local and national levels and my three kids have gone through CUSD system.
I am a community servant; supporting efforts from food bank to encouraging voter registration.
I ran in the March 2024 primary election and secured nearly 5000 votes. I organized and led an effort to bring all Bay Area candidates to a forum and speak with community back in February 2024.
“I’m committed to ensuring every child thrives. With decades in tech and deep Cupertino roots, I bring an inclusive, forward-thinking approach to building an equitable and prosperous education system for all.”
Making sure our students receive high quality education that focuses on fostering critical thinking, creativity, and practical skills. Implement rigorous curriculum review to ensure alignment with current technologies and skills needs to thrive in upcoming economies. Provide continuous professional development for educators to adopt innovative teaching skills. Education is not only about academic achievement but also about fostering peraonal and social development.
Ensuring we hire and retain quality educators who posses the skills, knowledge and personal attributes necessary to effectively foster student learning and development. Launch a recruitment and retention program that offers competitive salaries, professional growth opportunities, and mentorship for new teachers. Establish a support environment that prioritizes teacher wellbeing, encouraging long term commitment and high performance.
Creating an educational culture where all regardless of their background, feel valued, respected, and empowered to participate. Develop and enforce policies that address systemic inequalities. DEI will be my major focus on my tenure. I will ensure we conduct regular training on diversity, equity, and inclusion for all staff and students. Create a task force to monitor progress and ensure that voices of underrepresented groups are heard and integrated into decision-making process.
I love nature. Hiking gives me opportunity to appreciate beautiful Californina.

Together, we can build a brighter future for our children by fostering quality education, empowering our teachers, and ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive.
Beautiful sunset at Crater Lake Oregon
I have been to Mission Peak, Fremont many times.

Craziest hike I have ever done! But most thrilling!!
